For all things good
We've decided we want to walk the length of the Australian Alps Walking Track, ~700km from Walhalla to Canberra mainly for 'shits n gigs'
Then we decided it would be fun if we recruited some legends like YOU to come along for short sections.

We're also aiming to raise some coin for some ace causes, including Mittagundi & Wollongarra Outdoor Education Centres, the Lighthouse Foundation & Beyondblue

WHAT WE'RE DOING
Basically, walking a really long way
For us, there isn't much that can top spending time outdoors. So why not take the time whilst we have it and spend a lengthy period away from that dang rat race soaking up all mother nature has to offer. Add the challenges that come with long distance hiking and you've got a bloody ripper time not to mention a rad achievement if we eventually hobble into Canberra.
We're a little biased, we admit, but the High Country of Australia has some of the most spectacular scenery going round and offers a truly remote experience right at our backdoor, literally. If you haven't been it is certainly worth a trip, we promise you'll be wanting to go back for more.
Once we'd decided that walking for a long time might be something fun to do we realised this could be an awesome opportunity to share this experience with some awesome people such as YOURSELF and raise some dimes for causes we care about.
Hence, the idea for An Extended Casual Stroll was born.
This theoretical idea has put on a few kilos and is now semi-established as an actual thing in the world of the internet and thus far we are stoked with our progress.
We are hopeful it will at times be casual and perhaps stroll like, with a high chance of good times in the process.
WHO 'WE' ARE
Em & Dan Cross, a brother/sister duo born & bred in Myrtleford, North East Victoria.
Growing up on a small hobby farm at the foot of 'The Buff' (Mount Buffalo) has ensured the high country of Victoria has been an integral part of our upbringing.
Having successfully moved through a period of our lives where murdering each other was a legitimate option we now share many common interests and actually enjoy hanging out together, go figure.
Plotting hilarious practical jokes against our eco-bogan father aside we have both formed an appreciation for our natural environment. This brings a mutual participation in all things 'outdoorsy'. (Certainly inclusive of drinking beers outdoors).

Younger but still much wiser, which isn't hard. Obviously. Outdoor professional(ish). 23.
