Now we are truly getting into the Australia Alps. This part of the track winds up and into the Bogong high plains, passing through montane, subalpine and alpine forests along the way. What a way to spend the days leading up to Christmas, better than with your family anyway. At 8 days this section is perfect for those of you looking for a challenge.
