If we could hike anywhere in Australia, this would be it. Travelling through the most specky place in the world, the Bogong high plains (totally not biased), this section is perfect for anyone at all. Starting at Harrretville near Mt Hotham, finishing at the Omeo Highway and spending New Years Eve in the bush, what more could you want? This section would be perfect for those with less experience or those with less confidence bushwalking. PLUS the scenery is genuinely unreal!
